Yes. Private hire is a booking against the room itself, so it blocks public sales for that slot. Public sessions sell seat by seat against the same room.

Yes. Each session carries its own child price, and the booking page works out the total from the mix of adults and children.

The kiln can be a resource that a firing blocks, so nothing is scheduled into it. Tracking individual pieces through the firing cycle is on the roadmap and not available yet.
